From June 11, 2021 to January 9, 2022, the installation “I Wanna Give You Devotion” by Philipp Gufler will be shown in the group exhibition “Sweat” at the Haus der Kunst in Munich.
At the center of “I Wanna Give You Devotion” is the poster collection of the Forum Queeres Archiv München. For the installation, Gufler invited other artists and collectives to question, expand and update the poster collection: Gürsoy Doğtaş, Johanna Gonschorek, Eli Hill, Jack Hogan, Natalia LL, Stephan Janitzky, Cozy Piéro, Rory Pilgrim, Karol Radziszweski , Santiago Reyes, Jacolby Satterwhite, Joao Pedro Vale & Nuno Alexandre and Julian Warner created new posters for “I Wanna Give You Devotion”.
Inside the installation, Gufler’s video work “Lana Kaiser” is shown, which is a personal portrait of the singer and entertainer.
